Textbooks become available 3 weeks prior to the begining of each term

IMPORTANT
Please read the information below before ordering.

Shipping

  • Web Orders and Mail Orders are processed by the Bookstore's Express-A-Book department.
  • On line orders will be shipped via UPS Ground. Orders will usually ship in 24 to 48 hours from the time the order is placed (pending stock availability). During the first week of classes there may be a one or two day delay due to the heavy volume. As a result, we would like to encourage you to order early.
  • To insure prompt delivery double check your address and be sure to include your apartment number if applicable. In order to ship via UPS we must have the street address in the "ship to" address field. A PO Box is fine in the "bill to" address field. An incomplete or inaccurate address will delay your order.
  • The Express-A-Book department is closed on weekends and holidays. Orders placed on these days via the web site will be shipped on the next business day.
  • You may request NEW or USED books. However, if used books are not available we will automatically substitute a NEW book at the new book price. If you do not want us to substitute NEW for USED, please indicate "NO SUBSTITUTIONS" in the comment section of your order. Please be aware that it may require a special order of the book requested. This may delay your order.

Refund Policy

  • If you desire to return an item to us, please call the Express-A-Book department at 1-800-662-3950. We will let you know the percentage of refund as well as how to return items to us so as to ensure you receive the appropriate credit.
  • When shipping an item back for a refund, please include your name, address and order number (upper right hand corner of the original packing slip) or a copy of the original packing slip.
  • Credit card purchases will be credited back to the original card.
  • Cash or check orders will be refunded by University check. You may receive a refund check in one to two weeks.
  • In order to receive a full refund, the item must be in its original condition. A damaged, soiled or marked book will be evaluated and either refunded at a used price or considered non-returnable. The USU Bookstore reserves the right to access the condition of all materials.
  • Be cautious when purchasing Course Readers. Course Reader items are non-returnable.
